Meet Reddy Care's Physical Therapist, Alicia!

Alicia Grossman, PT

What made you get into the field of Physical Therapy?

I did volunteer work in a hospital and found the field of physical therapy fascinating!

How long have you been practicing physical therapy?

I have been a PT since 1985.

What’s your favorite part about being a physical therapist?

What I love about PT is the ability I have to restore a patient to their premorbid status, or close to it, and teaching them to function in their own home.

What’s your favorite condition to treat as a physical therapist?

I've experienced pediatrics to geriatrics and I really love the dynamics of orthopedics, where you can be a bit more aggressive with the patients who are usually younger and healthier and then on the flip side also love geriatrics as they are so appreciative of what I do for them and how such a little goes a long way in helping them to stay in their homes

How can patients benefit from PT treatment?

Patients benefit simply by experiencing a better quality of life after having PT.

What do you love about being part of the Reddy Care Physical & Occupational Therapy team?

As far as Reddy care goes, it is an easy company to work for and I truly feel they respect their therapists and the job we do. There aren't many agencies like that.

What’s one fun fact about you?

A fun fact…I like to practice what I preach, so I exercise myself and share that fact with my patients! I think they like to hear that I value what I do because I do it myself.
