Molekule Air Pro RX

Reddy Care Physical, Occupational and Aquatic Therapy is continuing to provide a safe environment for our patients. All our staff and therapists are wearing PPE and follow precautions recommended by the CDC, which include:

The Molekule Air Pro RX is used in operating rooms, emergency departments, waiting rooms, & ICUs. Molekule Air Pro RX destroys viruses & bacteria.

All our clinics are equipped with molekule medical-grade air purifiers. Molekule air purifiers satisfy performance criteria set out in FDA guidance to help destroy SARS-coV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. “FDA granted 510(k) Class II Medical Device Clearance for Air Pro RX based on a study that showed PECO technology destroyed 99.9994% of RNA virus MS2 on the filter in 24 hours, which is a proxy for SARS-CoV-2” (Balarashti & Conley 1).

Molekule PECO technology works by shining UV-A light on the surface of the catalytic filter to initiate a chemical reaction that generates hydroxyl radicals. By using nanotechnology, PECO can destroy pollutants 1000 times smaller than the standard filters. By using free radicals—the same radicals used to destroy cancer cells—it breaks down pollutants at a molecular level.

Molekule Air Pro RX plays an important role in our clinics at Reddy Care Physical, Occupational and Aquatic therapy. Molekule Air Pro RX is part of our preventative measures along with standard protective equipment and disinfection protocols.
