Work Hardening with WorkSTEPS

Work Hardening with WorkSTEPS

Reddy Care Physical, Occupational, and Aquatic Therapy offers WorkSTEPS® work hardening programs to help individuals safely return to physically demanding jobs. Work hardening is a structured rehabilitation approach that rebuilds strength, endurance, and functional ability so workers can return to their jobs with reduced risk of reinjury.

What Work Hardening Does

Work hardening prepares your body for the specific physical demands of your job.

As Dr. Eric Bayer, PT, DPT, explains:

“Each company partnered with WorkSTEPS has established protocols we follow to assess strength, flexibility, and job-related skills. This ensures workers can safely perform their required duties.”

The program combines physical conditioning with simulated work tasks to restore confidence, capability, and readiness.
