Meet our Physical Therapist, Caryn!

Meet our Physical Therapist!

What made you get into the field of Physical Therapy?

I have always enjoyed helping people. I was exposed to therapy at a young age by having a handicapped brother and always knew that I wanted a helping career in rehabilitation.

How long have you been practicing physical therapy?

I have been a physical therapist for 23 years.

What’s your favorite part about being a physical therapist?

I really enjoy the interaction with patients and helping them both physically and emotionally to feel better. It is very rewarding to help people accomplish things they couldn’t do previously.

What’s your favorite condition to treat as a physical therapist?

My favorite condition to treat is gait and balance problems. I love helping patients to be safer and more functional to prevent falls.

How can patients benefit from treatment?

Patients can benefit from treatments by being consistent with their appointments and continuing with HEP on non therapy days and post discharge for maintenance.

What do you love about being part of the Reddy Care Physical and Occupational Therapy team?

Reddy Care is a wonderful place to work. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and it is a very patient centered facility.

What’s one fun fact about you?

I love to shop... probably if I wasn’t a Physical therapist, I would have been a personal shopper!!
