There is no one specific cause of all neurological disorders, but some causes can include genetic disorders, lifestyle or environmental health problems, and injury to the brain or spine. Symptoms can vary depending on the type of neurological condition and the nerve or nerves affected. Physical therapy can play a crucial role in the management of your neurological condition by helping reduce your pain and restore function. Because each case is so unique, treatment with a physical therapist will start with a one-on-one evaluation where they will develop a personalized treatment plan based on your symptoms and needs.
