Post Covid-19 Rehabilitation

Physical Therapy for Covid Rehabilitation

Here at Reddy Care Physical and Occupational Therapy we work diligently to keep our patients safe from Covid-19. We have been following all the necessary precautions both in our clinic and in our in-home therapy sessions.

We are ensuring your safety by:

On top of all our preventions to keep our patients safe from getting Covid-19, we also offer post covid-19 rehab. Reddy Care offers an occupational and physical therapy approach with emphasis on pulmonary rehab, endurance, and functional skills.

Due to the impact of Covid on the respiratory system, it’s important for the therapist to examine the patients breathing.  A big part of a post-Covid treatment will be focused on the patients breathing. Teaching patients breathing exercises to improve abdominal breathing can be part of it. On top of any breathing techniques and exercises, physical therapists will also help improve your core strength, bed mobility, and standing tolerance. Therapy will be based on each patients’ individual needs. Occupational therapy can also aid greatly in patient’s ability to get back to activities of daily living safely and regain independence.

We are here to get you back your strength, endurance, and function, that you may have lost due to Covid. Our goal is to return patients to baseline functioning, at their pace. To find out more about our safety precautions and our Covid-19 rehabilitation program, give us a call today!
