He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at TNMGR Medical University in Chennai India in 2003, his Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy specialty at Sri Ramchandra University Chennai India in 2006, and became a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Loma Linda University California in 2010. Vinod completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physical Therapy in 2019 from the International Olympic Committee Switzerland, He has Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification (OMT-C) from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2021 and is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) in 2022 from Mulligan Manual Therapy concept USA. He completed Sports Manual Therapy Certification (SMTC) from the Institute for Athlete Regeneration. Trained in Advanced Manual Therapy (Stanley Paris concept) at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy in McKenzie Institute, USA.
